Yup, that's it, definitely a fly crawling along the needle. Now he's on the left. Gonna get that little bugger. Wish I had some Shpongle...I'd roast him!

I'll try..fast little sucker. He's gone now.

Gotta admit the left VU was wonky and sticking from the start. Wouldn't zero. The fly actually zero'd the meter but it's sticking again.

On a serious note, do you thing there is any danger of the bugger getting fried and spewing fly goo and short something? Should I shut her down?

havent seen it for about 15 minutes...could be fried already!

One wonders how a fly got into the meter housing, not much room in those holes with the bulbs. I bet it's a rare Wyoming Shpongle Fly (genus Gilletis)
