Yes, Larry and Lee: Bad-asses are classified into two groups: Wannabee bad-asses who use attitude to, supposedly, build themselves up, and the natural bad-ass who can be civil, yet defiant, without pulling someone's character apart. That second one has found a home, here.

Lee: isn't it more relaxing out on the water fly-fishing than blowing up amps? It's a wonderful hobby. We have plenty of fresh-water fishing holes around Squamish. But, my main fishing is done in salt-water.

Fishing? Man, reminds me of days past when I was stationed in Diego Garcia. You had your choice of charters - either an actual old WW2 like LCM (landing craft), for bottom fishing... or one of the Sea Ox's for trolling. The LCM was 50 bucks TOTAL for half day, 100 for a full day... while the Sea Ox was around 65/130. That's per BOAT, not per head!

To give ya guys an idea of what we caught way down yonder, take a look at this site here...

http://www.zianet.com/tedmorris/dg/fishing.html

I'd love another year out there.. but married (can't take 'em with ya)... and of course no longer enlisted...

Nando, nice try buddy, we all know Italian boys never really sever that umbilical cord from Mama :love1:
Hey stuwee,

That's quite true for some Italian boys. I've seen those mama boys in Little Italy in Vancouver: sipping expresso al fresco, dressed in pastel cotton suits, while their momma's are at home ironing their Gucci underwear. Pretty pathetic!

Nothing against fresh-water fishing, Lee. It's just not allowable for me to run my boat in a pristine river, belching 50:1 spent fuel ehaust. I'm all about the quick trip to the hole, and the quick trip back home in my boat. Yes, we have steelheads, rainbows, and dollys running in our local rivers and streams.

Nando, Canada won't let a 2 cycle on the river??
Hi Lee,

On smaller f.w. lakes and rivers, gas motors are banned, while on other f.w. bodies there is a h.p. restriction of gas motors less than 10 h.p.. Larger rivers and lakes are fine with gas-powered motorboats of all sizes. But, the most productive catches are the small fish bearing streams.

The more I think about it... stuwee hasn't outgrown his awkward stage. Sorry, stuwee; I know you are at a bit of a disadvantage without a computer to give a quick retort. My civil bad-ass attitude is starting to fray.

I think Stuwees awkward stage has been captured in an image of stuwee and stuella in the back of a Lincoln.

Is stuwella just surprised, or is she just built that way? If that's a normal pose for her, I think I've seen the definition of the "perfect woman!"
