Maybe that article is a "trial balloon," to give plausible deniability to just about any and every government entity...a high-tech version of "The dog ate my homework."

The bronzing issues have been well known for years. I just want discs to last for the duration of my life and not necessarily forever!

I mentioned corrosion issues here a few months ago.
