Not as bright as I remember, a little dull in the mid frequencies. But getting better the more they're played. A lot more bass than I remember...has to be the amp.. bass is a lot crisper..gobs of damping factor makes a ton of difference. .
 
Laz, did the Pig seem to struggle driving them?
 
I'm running 3 amp fuses right now...getting a feel for em again. They sure brightened up with the last 50 watts...

No, not at all. I took the Pig up to about 20 watts. My Denon AV machine was not up to the task, however. No surprise.

"...the last 50 watts..." WTF! How many are you pumping into them??
 
They take a little juice to sound right...
 
Very different speaker with an amp that's flat to 10hz...and has driver control like the WOPL.. No crossovers is a different animal too...
 
Gotta run a fan on the WOPL with these low impedance buggers...
 
After a few hours they have finally opened up,. probably due to the electronics finally getting fed enough electrons. Haven't had the system going for awhile...sounding better all the time...

I need to get the mids swapped out with the re-diaphramed 4592's. And the ME-10 tweets are going to get swapped for some CT-125's...the K's can take a break for a couple weeks. Jani likes em...but....she said if the K's leave so does she...I assured her the K's would not be going anywhere . Neighbor accross the street agreed with her...
