Yup. I was in from 77 to 84. I was a communications/navigation tech on the old F-4 Phantoms. I was a member of Marine Squadron VMFA-115.

I have 4 of the small robots that talk

I have the Moebius Models 18" J2 with the full lighting kit. I painted the freezing tubes with yellow-green florescent paint and lighted the inside with ultraviolet led's. The skin is painted with the testers metalizer aluminum paint. I'm happy with the way it came out. It would have been better with sound but I've not found a sound kit for it. I also have the Moebius Chariot and Space Pod but haven't even taken them out of the box yet. I am going to do the B-9 robot next and am going to spring for the sound and lighting kit. It's about $60 and has 17 different phrases. My big robot was a xmas gift from my sister in-law. It was originally a remote control toy but I don't have the remote. None the less the motors are all in there so I see no reason why I couldn't adapt a good remote control system to it. It has tons of room inside. I can use the same sound and lighting kit in it. I also had this idea about putting a taser inside of it to duplicate the robot defense mode. I think it would look impressive with a nice big arc between the claws! I have lots of ideas, just not sufficient time.
