The K-Horns are coming ! The K-Horns are coming !!!!

O no... Some people say the corners are REAL important.. Some say they are not.... I think when I get my second corner it will help me a lot !

If you are missing bass as you say, there are other issues, even with one good corner you can knock out light bulbs and TV screens...

Ok cool.... Lmao.... We will find those other issues... Yea... Im lacking some !!! SEE... I just had to come hear yours... and now nothing else will do !!! We get em !!!

Yea Nav... I gotta do something.... I gotta do it and enjoy it !!!

I'd like to know who else thinks thats Nav's best avatar yet ?????

I know I'm getting off topic ..... But I think I'm allowed on this thread... :toothy5:

Sounds like a phase issue to me, but Kevin is sure that all + and - are correct. But then, you had an issue Lee, and Kevin still was blown away by the bass from your K's, so. I have no idea what it could be. Kevin definitely had bass from his subwoofer. The cabinets were constructed correctly from the Seattle builders I assume. Did you audition the crossovers after you built them? I'd love to help figure this out...

Yea Sutton... Lee played my Xovers and my bass bins... Thats what I dont understand... I can't help but think Its my room !!! I just dont know.... I'll have time tomorrow to mess with it all.. I tried a different Pre last night !!! The PL sounded better !

I'll bet the PL pre did sound better. I'm just trying to help you figure this out. I just don't see it being your room. I will be around tomorrow if you want to brainstorm, plus I want to hear them MORE...I miss em. You got some fantastic speakers there..

Kev, they just wanted to know you weren't a "fair weather horn guy"......now that you've had your doubts and didn't kick em to the curb...WATCH OUT!!!

Sutton I really don't know what else it could be. Other than Tim forgot to pour in that quart of bass magic in each one before they left...

Scratch.... Where the hell you been man ??? Sutton and I were talking about you yesterday !!!!! After that fiddle comment .... Well... I'm going to still be nice !!!! LOL... Good to see ya here man !!! OK... I got a question for all !!!! The more I play these K's it seems Like the bass just keeps getting better.... Who thinks a woofer has break in time... Ya know ???? Sound better the longer and harder ya play them....I myself... I believe that.... What does everyone think.... AND.... I DO NOT OWN COUNTRY OR BLUEGRASS MUSIC !!!!

The woofers are simply not broken in (run in) yet. They will get there. I know that is what it has to be. I was there listening today, and they sound great. Having built many subwoofers, I have seen this before. It is a matter of running the crap out of them for about a month. Then they will "wake up" and scare the living crap out of you.
