I just got back from karaoke and the bar bought me dinner down the street at my favorite place to eat in town and I had a great diner bacon cheeseburger and tots before going into the bar to sing with free pop and some Cheetos and a pepperoni stick. I was getting a little tired around 1 am though so I went home...didn't have to pay for the bar shuttle even.

Sometime tomorrow I'm hoping the Dell OptiPlex Web Police upgraded with a quad core etc will arrive from FedEx :) Tuesday a family friend that owns the best restaurant in this town gave me a bacon cheeseburger, fries, diet Pepsi and an ice cream cone for dinner. Another couple who are also friends brought some food from the dollar store...

This one has franks, small ribeye steaks, tots and other frozen veggies, sourdough sliced loaf, a small box of cereal, even a quart of milk...

Mom should be home from Minnesota now and I'm not sure when I'll get to see her but she said my card is on the way.

My counselor at the clinic brought me some barbecued franks and a burger too...

That sure helped as I had but one chicken breast and no burger and lots of canned kidney and black beans to get through til Tuesday, just not much meat.

If I have other surprises, it doesn't matter. I've got to copy this and modify it to thank about 3 other forums sites and then get some sleep.

Thank you for the wonderful greetings I'll likely have when I get back to the computer later today!

Steven

Happy Birthday Brother!

We broke down and charged a new Dell Inspiron desktop PC. We went to Best Buy and got a new one for around $250 on sale. Windows 8, Pentium G3220, 4GB RAM a 500GB HD, WIFI, CD/RW and has a great soundcard. I can't believe how much smaller the "towers" are now. This one is so quiet, never hear a fan like the old Dell tower sitting on the floor next to me. The OS is not that hard to understand at all, we ignore the apps and just go to the desktop screen with our normal desktop shortcuts

Happy B-day Steven. These seem to come around quickly now. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. :rabbit:
I went out on my bike for over two hours today, so do you nap early?

Happy belated b-day, Steven! Someone said, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do" but I say "Don't do anything I wouldn't ENJOY!" That gives ya lots of wiggle room, brother...
