Thanks Don for a wonderful product. Your DCP board protected my subwoofer.
I was adjusting my active sub crossover when the speaker gave a couple little burps then....silence.
Power reset, try again. Burp...silence.
Power reset.....silence.
I pulled the amp, checked fuses. Both rail fuses were blown. Put it on the bench and checked power supply...good
Installed new rail fuses. Brought it up on the DBT. All is good.
Gave it some signal...good. so what happened?
Seems the crossover has an issue. Left channel level adjust pot is putting as much as 2 vdc on the input of the amp intermittently. Gonna have to find out why.
Thanks again Don, this could have been worse.

Thanks for the kind comments. It's rare that I get any feedback and good or bad, much appreciated.
Thank you sir... the DCP and new hardware installation in my PL-400 Series II went very smoothly. I installed it just after the WOPL board went in and the amp was working. That amp is always on, and in use here - having the DCP installed makes me feel better about that.

Sometimes no news IS good news then. Don, I used one of the DCP boards you designed. It worked great in my stock build PL 400 years and years ago and still does. I sold the amplifier to a friend and he loves it! I appreciate the quality of the board and the instruction you gave me.

wattsabundant DCP is a must have for these amps for original configure or full WOPL.
If Mr. Don had not offered those boards I would not have even tried restoring my old PL 400. That is what got me interested in the first place in restoring it to be perfectly honest. I was totally unsure of my ability to get it right but felt that with his DCP board I would have a good chance. One more thing. I do not own or expect to ever own any high end or high dollar speakers. I restore my own because I like vintage equipment and seeing what I can do with my own hands and skills (limited). However, the speakers I do have I would not want anything to happen to because some are hard to find replacement parts for or the drivers are expensive as hell (to me). This is why a say what I said above. I was very happy to find a solution to what I knew could be a big problem (DC voltage on my outputs) . A really old amplifier I really wanted to use and a real reason not to solved.
