So you would have to use one gram of tracking force. That would limit the cartridges you could use. I usually use about 1.25 grams on the Audio-Technica, but I think the Shure will track with one gram....

Yup! My old one was a Fisher that someone liberated from the science dept at high school long before I was attending.

Ohaus made the newer ones that most folks had.
