Tapematic 2002

In series you would have a 2 stage, in parallel a more capacdity single. The second pump in a 2 stage should be the one able to pull the most vacuum, not more volume.

Well I have to go get some tubing and fittings. I have guys waiting on me. Not pulling enough vacuum. So today my goal is to start loading tapes. LOL I cut down my air pressure and everything is ready. Except the vacuum. So I will be doing some plumbing today. Wish me luck. I should have bought the 240 volt vacuum pump.

Good Luck!!

Now I'm confused :? , the last unit's issue was the vacuum and now this one has it too? Didn't you give it a test when you bought it before you loaded it up to bring home? If not, why?

What's the voltage of the pump you bought? And why would a higher voltage one be better?

I watched it work. This one isn't giving me the same code. The other one was giving me all kinds of codes.

Usually a 240 pump will be a bigger pump. Thus pulling more vacuum. LOL I have one more pump to try and see what we get.

I'm already tired. have been working since 6 AM already. So I will try the other pump in a bit.

Well I'm about to put 2 vacuum pumps up for sale. I'm right there and I need more vacuum. I just woke up. Slept for 3 hours. That isn't cool at all.

I told Carly to pinch your nose, I guess you were reelly knocked out, she says she doesn't snore and that you fart worse than the Cats when you sleep! :bootyshake: :fart:

Well we bought a 19 CFM vacuum pump. 1 HP 120 or 240 motor. Will be putting 240 in the garage. The vacuum port is 3.5 inches in Diameter. Just made a 4 inch blank off plate out of steel. Have to drill for a 3/8 fitting. Will do that and tap it. So I am getting ready for it. This thing is big. Will put a valve is so I can regulate the vacuum. If this doesn't work then I'm through. I will sell everything.
