A very plausible scenario except for that you exclaim part, you infer I could hear you.

Cool! Lee is on a bender and he has to work tomorrow. Your artistic talent is only superseded by your grand vision of an alternate universe replete with dancing semiconductors.

Scenario #2: A heavy metal band jam session down the street is interrupted by a hell-raising outburst of 25 Hz sine waves from a domestic household two doors away.

Nando.

Oh Gawd that's funny!! A 25 hz sine wave at mind bending power levels would probably get me listed as a terrorist, which, with the passing of a new law allows the powers that be to hold me indefinately and without due process of law. Constitution???? WHAT COONSTITUTION??? Aw Jeez, didn't mean to rant, but now they have gone too far. they can just leave me with my dancing semiconductors and interactive audio pursuits, if that be terrorism then aliens really are running the planet.

With the improved low freq response a PL/WO 550 can vibrate your eyeballs on " Star Shpongled Banner", with no gain on the tone controls.

I have now talked my friend, Kevin into going for a Phase 400 rebuild instead of a rebuild of his Hafler PRO 500. Was that the thing to do? Anybody want a PRO 500 Hafler that kinds wroks, and could be made to work? I hate to throw another 400 at Lee to rebuild. Anyone else want to take one on? Gotta find one for him first, and picking on eBay are kinda slim right now...Anyone got one of those cheap?

Lee,

ya got one more 400 in ya? Do you have a hulk which could be made functional? Or would yourather pass the task to someone else and have me find an eBay non-worker? I've been looking for a couple of weeks with no real luck...even the broken ones are going for $175 PLUS, and with shipping on top of that. I like to be in thee for $200.0 TOS with a pristine condition cosmetically...Kevin is not so anal as me and would go for a not so prety one, is the price is rigtht. I've had to sell him hard to get him over to the Phase l=side...He liked the Haflers pretty well.but I've convinced him, he ain't heard NOTHING thil he hears a Phas Linear done by YOU...and if 500 watts Hafler style turns his crank, I'd say a 400 pultting out 550 will do it for him. He will be-amp HIS Linus Arrays with a 400 on the woofs and a Hafler 220 on the treble..

I did a side by side test of a Hafler DH-220 and the PL-700B. Now, I know that is not quite a fair test so I rolled the input volume down to about 1/3. The PL just had so much more reserve to draw from that EVEN THEN, it was not close. I give up. But if Kevin wants to get rid of his DH-500, I'll take it and then conduct a more fair test.

Just finished up Sutton's second PL/WO 550. Put the LED board in, and made 4 of the meter swupport plates to keep from binding up the meters. At least with the supports you can tighten it down enough to keep em in their place during shipping.

It looks fantastic. As soon as you get her boxed, let m,e know the shipping details and I'll get the shipping labels emailed to you. Fantastic looking piece of gear. Still can't wait to see a rack full of PL gear, replacing all the overhyped Bryston I did have. I jus hope I can get top dollar for the Byston stuff. My wife is steaming mad about my recent electronics purchases, with good cause., I have bought way too much stuf lately. Anybody wanna buy anything? I got tons of stuff going on the auction block..Haflers, working and non-working form Dh-200's, P-220, up to DH-500 and PRO 500 and have multiples of each. I'm thinkin a dollar a watt if working and $.50 per watt not working..I think most of the non- worker have a fried BR or something easy to fix...All of the workers are in really good shape cosmetically and othewose. Some have new storage caps...big Cornel Doublier blue jobbies..pm me if interested

I have several...a DH-500, a P-505, and my friend Kevin has two PRO 500's one from pre and one from post Rockford Fosgate acquisition. What cha got in mind? The DH-500 and the P-505 re both fully functioning, while the two PRO 500's will play fine at louder volumes but not so well at lower volumes. Kevin wants to get one of them working, and wants to sell the other. I will sell either the P-505 or the DH-500, or I'd trade...tell me what you're thinking..

I can send whatever you want to try and you could decide for sure after getting whichever ones you have an interest in. Shipping costs are the only pain. I think a couple of them may even have new filter caps..

Oh Lee, I have one 4B listed on eBay right now with a reserve of $700.00. I'd like to get that out of each 4B, and the 7B ST pair I really don't know...Anyone interested? I think the ST still has some warranty left on them..

Oh the Phase 500 looks stunning. Absolutely beautiful work, man..
