Got a great sounding Akai GX-7 3 header in this week. At first it wouldn't record, and the door wouldn't close, but I fixed the record sensor.

As far as the door... didya know that it is a motorized closing, and to do so you had to press STOP? (whodathunk?). Sell told me that after I reported the issues. Duuuh.. dolts-r-us..

:alien:

Way to go dolt!!   I can just see your face when the seller said "Well, did you press the stop button"

We still love ya Jer :ugeek:
Still "weird" in my book. Usually you can just give the door a nudge towards closing it, and it should close by itself (that's the way it was with that GX-F91 I had). This one - nooo... have to press "stop" (and not even "eject" like a CD would be... i.e. press eject for eject, press it again to close).

Yeah.. deeerrrr... still tho, anyone else seen one like this?
