I have 2 more questions how do you clean/shine/oil the fake veneer on these and how far from the wall should these be each one has 2 huge ports in the back that you can stick half your arm in?
right now I have them about give or take 3 inches from the wall is that ok?

You can try to lightly block sand it with some 400grit. Since most of my experience is with Gunstocks I like Tru Oil I usually go wit 8-10 hand rubbed coats for a stock but for Veneer a couple will do the trick. Maybe someone else has a different way
