A "DDD" mastering. Sounds amazing with all the nuances intact.
This is a benchmark recording in my realm. One I always brought
along for demo-ing sessions at audio stores, to experience speakers
I knew I could never afford. Cool album and a recommended introductory,
taster album for those who don't know about Di Meola. If you dig
accordions, there's some competent playing buried in this one.

Two stand out tracks:
'Parranda'
'Under a Dark Moon'

Listen to these in a well arranged demo-room and you'll think your hearing it played live on the right speaks.





I'm certain now that my tape collection is going to sound amazing through these cans too ... tomorrow

I second that! Speaks volumes as to why I love the dipole 'stat sound, just get those puppies away from the side walls and a bit out into the room, magic happens!!

Heart--"Magic Man" is a good test too....

Hell, that entire album is to die for! Recorded with tube mikes/ rescued tube soundboard on a tube multi-track RtR deck and transfered to a tube lathe for the cutting ...grab a first pressing copy on Lp pay what they ask!
