Sony TC-K950ES

I had been a big user of automatic tape transport functions such as Blank Skip, Music Search, Repeat on cassette decks, especially, car audio cassette decks. The only auto function I use now is auto-reverse, and sparingly. That's because I found when using auto functions, other than auto-reverse, you are accelerating wear on your deck's heads. And I don't want to prematurely wear the heads on any of my decks. Hey, if you are listening to any of the mix tapes made by members here, I don't think there's any need to fast forward or rewind, unless like me, there's a particular segment of music you would like to share with others via video upload.

Derek: Hah, you've seen that picture, have you?

Yeah, it doubles as a high seat as well =). I thought about the silver/black thing but its just too hard for me to move them all around. Would like to add a minidisc recorder unit someday. Will have to take a tape deck or two out of the cabinet for expansions in the future.

That's a bit of a wink to me, Lee? Do I want a Pioneer Spec 2? Carlos, when the time comes, I will have one. It's one of the biggest, baddest Spec-series component missing from my stereo stand.

Unfortunately, the real nice condition ones are always over the $1,000.00 range! :pale:

Carlos: I hadn't checked in awhile. That's up there for pricing.
