If this newly designed circuit makes a good replacement this will extend the Pioneer tuners life - cool stuff. I'm not so keen on the encapsulation idea. I hope the OP is willing to let Mark review his design.

I'm shitty about my 1250 still. Mark told me he didn't have time to fix it so I dropped it off to my local dude. Then a week later mark. Got back ahold of me and said he had a opening but I couldn't get my amp back in time. And 16 months later it's still at the local guys shop.......

And like I said it was all about bad timing. He said no but then after that week realized he could use my chassis to mess with boards he was making. But by then I had dropped it off local and he wouldn't let me go get it back. He didn't want me to make the other tech feel bad. Now 16 months later not only did mark not get to fix it but I'm still waitin on the local guy to finish. Makes me sick!!!

No but he's been paid up and just keeps avoiding him and when he occasionally does talk,he just keeps pushing him off.....again and again.
In that case, f&^## the suit take a baseball bat with the next visit. Bring home the receiver AND the money!!

Mark is not who has it just to be clear lol. It's a dude that works out of his garage but has a name of circuit pro electronics in south bend Indiana . Yeah I'm pissed about the whole deal. But I ain't suing anyone and I ain't going to jail over 500$ either lol. So I will keep callin and listening to excuses till it's done. Not much else to do!!!
