Errrrrrrrr! I went to the lake to drink some beer with my buddies and it snowed 3 inches while I was there. Of course I got stuck in the lot with my car. There was like 4 or 5 inches of snow when I arrived and 7 or 8 by the time I left. I had one of my friends push my car out with his four wheel drive truck. Spun my tires and had him pushing and I got back on the road. Then of course I got stuck in my driveway and couldn't get into the garage. I then shoveled the path in front of the garage and did a backwards fish tail with a front wheel drive car to finally get it in the garage. Good thing it is an 97 Chevy Malibu and not worth much. :cyclops:

Ahh winter in Minnesota, ya gotta love it. Maybe I'll get a snow day from work tomorrow as it i supposed to snow till about noon tomorrow.

I can work from home here, luckily. It's not me... just the idjits out there driving their big "urban tanks" thinking they can still do 65 on the interstates... those scare the crap outta me.

I don't envy you at all.

Our so-called storm has mostly melted away, leaving me the opportunity to clean out and sort more of the shed I DO have and the house,

No garbage service tomorrow so I have to wait til Tuesday, without Aimee Mann.

With all the water-based mayhem on the West Coast my chance to sell them all the snow piles mixed with gravel and dirt as "mineral enhanced iced rain water" fell into ruin. :pirate: :pirate: :pirate:

Still digging out. The snow bank to the right side of my driveway is 10 feet tall. I shoveled off my deck yesterday and now there is 8 more inches on it. I only got stuck once this morning on my way to work and some guy stopped to help and then he got stuck. Eventually a guy with a 4 wheel drive and a plow pushed the snow out of the way so I could get a run to the main road. :cyclops:

Even my Ton and a half Sterling Roustabout truck is 4 wheel drive. Wouldn't get very far without it in the oilfield. For the really bad days I have 4 tire chains and i know how to use 'em.

I was watching the PHX race Sunday on telly and right at the 1:30pm start, I hear noise on the skylights in the livingroom, look outside and it's freakin' snow/sleet/hail'n out so hard I couldn't see the houses across the street, back up in the low 80's today
