Tapes.com has 100 silver CDRs for sale @ 25.00 free shipping. I would buy a bunch but there is a limit of 1 per customer. These are good CDRs. I bought one because I can't get them at that price. Just thought you would like to know.

You can buy more of the CD-Rs at $25 per 100, but the free shipping is limited to one pack of 100.

Larry are these CD's any better than any other? I use all sorts of brand name CDR's and never had any problems with any of them? I hear people say Taiyo Yuden are good, but I have never noticed any difference.

I just bought some for 0.36 a piece. I like them. From all my research the silver is the best for playback. It reflects better. So the 25.00 with free shipping. They started the CDR design and they are suppose to be best. They are all I use and I have no complaints.

If you say so. :cyclops:
Dude
I'm OCD. I researched the CDRs before I started buying them. LOL You would think Gold would be better; but it isn't. It doesn't reflect as well as silver. I just wanted the best bang for the buck. Did I mention I'm tight with my money also. LOL

Yeah I'd buy some but I currently have about 400 Silver CDr's of various manufactures on hand. I have about 600 DVD-R's and about 400 or so music CD'rs on hand, and I haven't had to buy any media in several years. :cyclops:

I still have some Maxell and Imation CDr's from 1998. :joker: The Maxells are the blue surface ones.

I still have some too, but only half of what I used to. Remember those CD "case logic" things that could hold umpteen number of CD's because they used a plastic slip-in holder for each "page" that held 4 CD's without the cases? (hope I described that right).

Well, come to find out that after awhile if you didn't take out a CD, it's surface near the plastic side would almost fuse together, and would rip right off taking the data layer right along with it. UGH... And I used to have some cool old software on 'em too... Old BBS stuff that couldn't be replaced. :ugeek:

I have some of them cases also, but supposedly the ones I have have pages that don't fuse with the dye layer of the cd's or DVD's.

For my data backups I have just been stacking them on empty spindles from used up Cd and DVD blanks.

The CD's and DVD's I mentioned in my previous post are all unused. I probably have 1000 burnt ones also either in jewel boxes or in the three ring binder type of cases.
