[TD]Yeah that would do it.

So what DID you replace the SA-8800 I so love with?

The SA-8800 was never in a regular rotation it was a collectors piece that I intended to refinish the case but never got around to it. It might have been Obama's at one time since it came to me from Hawaii. At one time I had the SA-9800, SA-7800, SA6800 and the SA5800, but had since sold all except the SA-9800.

What can I say poor dog.

I might know what you're thinking but I don't need more amps for awhile and he should hang on to it. It's too nice. I had a 7500 once and a --- can't remember but I think it was a 3 number variant and I sold it years ago.

PS I slept the whole day in (why?) and woke up not much more than an hour ago, took a while to get the poor cats fed and eat my own meal. The CD player had been stuck on the same track, 20 CDs later than where I started. It's not cold in here-I think the storm brought a warm front behind it but it's mixed probably at the moment and it wasn't bitter and windy like last week.

Are you interested in just the amp? The amp is operational, but a refresh and or tune up would make it spin like a top. I'll have to check on it at home as I believe the cover screws are stripped and the wood cover isn't in the best shape with the wood grain wearing off in a few spots. The bag holds the four side cover screws. They screw into the metal chassis and those holes are slightly enlarged. If one could get at it a ball peen hammer would stretch the metal a little so the screws will take hold. Either that or they make some clips that clip on the metal and you can turn the thread into. I just never got around to fixing it. Oranges SA-8800 used to have a home on top of these two until a year ago or so.

They are sitting on an old wooden TV cabinet. Remember when tv's used to be in a wooden cabinet? :p

PM me if you are interested.

Here is the only image I have access to currently.
