SAE Mark XXX Pre

The Spec 1 has that speaker feature too Nando. If you want to switch between speaker A and B the amps out go to the pre....
 
That's pretty nice Nando. Really weird hookup though. Kind of afraid, not understanding, throwing the WOPL power back through the pre. Any pre noise would not be amplified...is that the theory behind it?

Just speaker switching Dave, no biggie...all done on the back wall, on the Spec, behind a shield...
 
You certainly do, still in the box Doug sent it in. Haven't even unboxed it yet. I should do that sometime this year....
 
I think----"You're killin me smalls" would have been more appropriate.....
 
I may have a Kenwood Basic C2 available very soon, no one can say that is a slouch especially if you play records. It has a killer phono stage. Once Perry hotrods my Clair, I will be using the Perreaux SA3 or Carver C1

A little chrome and a splash of paint.... maybe some new lug nuts..... good as new

I wish they were that easy. Paint on the chassis and tranny maybe, Pussy Pink is out of the question though. I would hate to get caught banging my amp LMAO
 
I found two ACT I Prologic pres at just under $150 on eBay, if that will help. Doesn't mean you gotta use all 5.1 channels...

The Perreaux is a KILLER one any 3 model is desireable, I use a SA3 and I paid $575 from mine off AK from member awise. The SM3 is a STEAL, wish I could do it

It looked like a reasonable price and I know you really like the Perreaux preamps Ron so I thought I'd add this one to the list.
