Russ' Phase Linear 700B Going Fully Comp!!!!!!!

Just got in. A little lunch then the rest of the outputs go in, then...........
 
Outputs in, oddset----left---minus 8mv, right----minus 7mv. Bias holding steady at 386mv.




IT's Time!!!!!!!!!!

Joe, This thing is DEAD F^&%$^ QUIET!! Less noise than the Silver Shadow 400. Think of a WOPL 400 with TWICE THE F*&^%$# GAIN!!
 
F&^%$# A he is. This is what we've been working all this time for!! An amp as quiet and musical as a WOPL 400, WITH TWICE THE GAIN!! We are gonna blow some shit AWAY at the RMAF!
 
Damn... Now all I want is a pair of horns and a all new 700.... LMAO...

Cause I don't want to shut it down long enough to PUT IT ON THE AP.!! Jer its F&^%$#@ AMAZING. Kicks the quasi version plumb to the curb, big jump in soundstage!

Glad you are enjoying it Lee and it replicates the sound stage of the 400 FC. That is good news indeed.
 
The wiring still bothers me, but a lot less now that I've heard it. This is undoubtably the quietest 700 I've heard. I'm betting it's quieter that the SS400.
