Yeah, like it or not people, Aerosmith was from New Hampshire...NOT Boston.

The Steven Tyler monitor amp as it is today...soon to be upgraded with a DCP and who knows what else. Ron wants to put on a clean and shinny faceplate. I say leave the crusty one on there and just clean it up. And leave the gain knobs in place too. I love the mojo of this thing.

He wanted me to post up photos for the site archives so here they are.

Dan, what are the numbers on the back of the board??

Hookay, I'm going with PL400, EARLY PL400....

Also noteworthy and humorous is the fuses were a 20 amp and two 10 ampers. Not the 8 and 5's they should have been.

By God, finally put in some that wouldn't blow!!

If I ever happened upon a legend like that, I would leave the faceplate. It has seen more musical history than most of us will ever experience. If you decide to sell that shitty, roached out, piece of junk, let me know. I'd proudly own it. :toothy5:

Just thought it worth asking, does anybody have one of the rear output covers for the 4 fin amps? This only has one and the other side has some of the 8 fin covers.

If you got one to spare, let me know.

Still looking for a rear transistor cover piece for this 4 fin'er. Also could use a DCP board, or kit if somebody has a spare. Trying to keep this one on the cheap for Northwinds.

Might be able to help you out on the cover I have a 4 fin amp coming in paid for it 4 days ago but he still has not shipped it yet but I can let you know when it gets here...
