Screw it
I just got off the phone with Ron a few minutes ago and he's having SERIOUS vision issues to the point where he is not able to see any of the posts written here to him, nor is he able to write. If you have dealings with him (i.e. record sales, equipment etc...), please give him some time however he is in need of the funds generated by these sales and between myself and his family, we will help all we can to ensure the transactions are completed and the merchandise gets where it needs to go. I'm leaving for Texas in a couple hours but will continue to monitor the situation and try and keep you updated. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the doctors can save his eyesight (yes, it's that serious). Brother Ron has been dealt some shitty cards as of late so please keep him in your prayers (and his wife and kids). Please, if you are outside of the USA, the customs forms are too much for him to focus on and if you have other options such as a USA address as an alternative, please use it. Thanks and I'll try and keep you guys up to speed. Thanks

Perry

HOPE YOU GET WELL SOON RON AND ALL WILL BE OK WITH YOU

I don't think he'll be able to see that either but we understand the love.

Thanls brpthers!!! No not dfiabetess, its a gebvrt0cs condition aggerecting the pumps that relieves pressure behind my corneras and venting the auqueos humor. The "pumps" are not worjubf so pressure is deforming my corneas. Light coming in is not focuseded but regracted everywhere. Supposedlu no cure as yet but they metiond removing kayes of the corneas and replacing iy with small cadaver sections that lessen the chacence of rejecyion or using amniotic unassigned tissye

fuck, my son says my posyr loojks linme a mess but nest O cabn do right now

Geez, Ron, you are now on my prayer list and, that includes many great folks prayer lists in the Tucson area, as serious as this sounds, I think your doctors are in the correct direction on helping you get your sight back to normal and, if not normal a very close fasimally ! keep us posted on how things are going buddy!!

Figured I would type this while I can see/ Yesterday, the drops I took helped somewhat but this morning I woke up and the filminess is back. I think these drops only temporarily alleviate the problem, they are no longterm treatment/ Rigth now, everything looks dull and washed out and even as I type the letters on the keyboard are disappearing. I am calling the eye doctor back today to find out what he called this condition and strat looking into treatments used. I had hoped these drops would be a quick cure but I forgot that there is no cure. Looks like surgery is definitely on my horizon and that scares me but whatever/ I have to call my sisters todaya also to let them know what is going on so they are aware they might be facing this iiuse also

Things are blurring up now so I will end this message for now and try to post once I take all the drops and my eyesight comes back again for awhile

Crazy shit, I don't wish this shit on anyone. I guess you take eyesight for granted. I don't anymore. I treasure it and hope I get to keep it

I mentioned diabetes because I have some dead spots in both retinas. What one eye can't see the other does. I wouldn't have noticed except for watching the end credits of a movie scroll up the screen with something in the foreground blocking one eye's field of view.

I know the panic you felt at the prospect of blindness. I had a blind patient once, asked him if it was from diabetes, he confirmed one of my most fearful thoughts...

Hey Mark, can't see very food right now but diabetes is a logical choice. My Dad had it. I don't have, nor does my kids which I would have been more concerned about since it tends to skip a generation

Teah, the potential is scary regarding possibly going blind after a life of sight

Drops don't seem to be working this morning as yet, maybe I need to try the pregnazone ones again, maybe I did not get enough in my eyes

Hey buddy, please use care with the steroids...(pregnazone). I'll look up some info from the drugs forum. I've had some nasty reactions from that drug. ok? take care, hello Jake!!

I've been on eyedrops for years. Keep having to change as they stop being effective. Doc told me that is why Glaucoma is not curable. Keep fighting it Ron and we'll be thinking of you! Fred.

Glaucoma isn't curable but between valves and drops, it can be drastically slowed down.

Terrible to hear Ron. Hope all goes well, and a speedy recovery.

I'm sorry to hear what has just happened with your eyesight, Ron. If this is a symptom of an illness, such as diabetes, then I hope you can nip this in the bud with the right diagnosis. Wishing best thoughts for you, Ron.

Nando.

Thanks Brothers!

As I said, I will know more next Monday when I go back for another appointmet

Drops do wear off :angryfire:

Keep your head up Bro. Trust that the Dr. will come through for you, but do as much of your own research as possible. My little brother who just turned 30 has been struggling with his eyes for about 3 years now. Almost completely blind in one and not the best in the other. His started from having a bad molar and was originally diagnosed as MS. Through our own research and persistence his other eye was saved. Unless everyone involved is 100% positive of your diagnosis, present everything you can find to any Drs or specialists you deal with. The best of luck to you, and stay positive.

In between the drops I think you need a nurse. One's on the way. Take care of yourself Ron.
