I didn't want to derail Larry's fine thread on rebelting a tape deck, so I did find an old thread from the UK, http://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/show ... p?p=157050 , they alk about this 'Swarfega' stuff, which is a hand cleaner used over there, and white spirits and Acetone, which are deadly to plastic parts. So anyone have ideas on what they've used in the past?
