Had a little free time today to compare single ended coax cables versus the newly constructed differential to single ended STP cables.
The single ended coax cables way underperform by not utilizing the differential circuitry on the QA. Noise is way high, especially 60 Hz. Differential STP cabling is a requirement for good results.
Testing was done using the Acurus L10 preamp that I keep set aside as a standard.
Need to build another pair of these cables so I can do comparison testing of the Acurus and PL preamps.
