There's corruption, even, in Wyoming? Back on topic: when the wattage-wars were on in the late 70's were those power ratings as close to the real numbers worthy of trusting. Were there some manufacturers who would fudge the numbers? It's funny how the auto industry put out very conservative hp ratings to keep the Insurance fiends off their backs (us car guys knew better than what the printed ads stated).
I wonder why dynamic power outputs weren't usually stated in the stereo ads? It's almost like they were shy about it.
