Pop and a fizzle

The old board builder, By leaving those solder tails so long, was asking for trouble. She did terrible work.
 
Yep, the old board builder is why I buy blank boards...
 
Funny enough I remember a year after I built it I had to open it up and tighten that exact binding post nut on the board
 
I'm pretty sure I would not find a problem with yours...

Pulled all the outputs and drivers and they test good :(
 
It passed dim bulb tester numerous times with an 100 watt bulb. So yeah I wasn't surprised the outputs are good. At this point I am pretty convinced that this was all that shoddy soldering job
 
I can't without a replacement or repaired relay assembly, pcb
 
If it was a 700 DCP (and you could NOT get ahold of Don), I could help you.

If it helps, R10 is a 2 ohm resistor 1/4 watt Don't think I have one but I'll check. Don't know if anything else "WENT" with the resistor though.
