Many here can do it. Buy the Parts from Joe and then it's just a matter of who will give you the best price on Labor (MANY HOURS OF IT). Go through the build threads and pick somebody and PM them.

I have akk the stock 909s and the other ones from when I gutted my pretty 400 that's waiting to be done up someday. I am not sure if you can even buy them anymore but let me know if you need them

Sorry to hear she got smoked but thats part of the learning process I guess. This is why I don't even mess with them, I just turn on the power and hit the gas LOL

I guess it's what I get for buying parts off of ebay.... I can build the boards I just don't have the test equipment to do the intial setup on them.. Time is one thing I have plenty of and my soldering skill is pretty darn good if I say so myself...! I was a radar tech in the USAF back in the last century.....lol :laughing7:

You have enough test equipment to get this 400 White Oaked and up and running. I did it for years with just a Fluke 179. When you have problems is where the other test equipment comes into play.

This of course does not include analyzers and what not to document performance and specs...

I've been watching the videos posted by Mark5W8Comer, I'm sure I can handle what I have seen so far... getting ready to watch the one where he does initial power-up. I'm going to do this... I bought the 400 about 6 years ago for $50 and brought it back to life. Now that I have found this forum I'm sure I can handle it... I'm going to go the full comp way!

Hope to get the boards ordered here in the next couple of weeks!

Thanks,

Jim
