Just in case anyone else needs the service manual, here it is, along with the Owner's manual.

I have no problem with you obtaining a,free copy of service manuals. I believe that if we don't support the manuals people we won't have them when we need them. Would you please remove those two available downloads?

I'm not sure I understand what you are objecting to. The manuals are free to download, for anyone, from the site I got them from. Anyone could go there and download them for themselves. These were not purchased. They are in the public domain, free of charge. But if you want me to remove them for some reason, of course, I'll comply.

I understand that. But as long as there are manuals vendors Phoenix will not make downloads available on its forums. If someone wants to download from a free site that's fine, but we won't participate.
I believe you get what you pay for. The manuals I buy are high quality reprints from original manuals that were in good shape. Complete with oversize schematics in separate sheets, and with all revisions and supplements, when available. I'm not going to argue the public domain aspect of manuals or copyright infringement as most of these products are no longer supported. I think the manuals vendors should be supported for access to those documents that have not and may never be offered on the free sites. It takes time, energy and materials to copy, bind, clean up, and mail an actual hardcopy. I feel it's worth it. You are certainly welcome to disagree, and thank you for removing the links....

I understand your point, as well as your generous desire to support vendors who support our efforts. Thanks for explaining the situation. I agree with your position.

Is this a 3300 Series II preamp? I reread this thread and I'm gathering it is a Series II not a Series I.
