I have another "box of chocolates" PL1000 S2 headed my way so did some searching and found that lost link. Here ya go.

Next "box of chocolates". Just the way I like them, dusty all over and looking unused since the death of vinyl was announced.
Parts unit is #3647, this new to me one is #4195 and appears untouched.
It has a factory appearing mod over the NE5554N Adjustable Dual Tracking Voltage Regulator and a additional 1000 uF Nippon Chemicon cap on the foil side.
The earlier parts unit doesn't have this.
Looks like this will be my unit to recap and upgrade. Very nice.

Thanks Mark, the more I can understand about the S1 will help with the S2. Going to be awhile until I get to it as my AR-XB is still in pieces. Thank you!
