Pioneer Elite PD-65--- Unchartered Territory

For Gods' sake. if it's an .EXE not a PDF or the ZIP/RAR file reveals anything but a graphics type file, DON'T INSTALL IT!

Try elektrotanya.com or hifiengine.com.

Well Steven, I don't know what file format it's ion. Once you registered and installed theeior downloader programs ya never could get back to the file with the YEDS-7 info.

Enlisted the help of some AK'ers on this one. Pics of the laser mount. tray will open/close, disc spins up, laser tries to focus going in and out 2 times then no more movement and the disc coasts to a stop.

Cool. Send that to me ASAP and I'll install it.
Also, if ANYONE has the procedure for alignment of the PD-65 after replacing the laser pickup, please send it to me. You see the little dot on the ribbon cable? That's a potentiometer...and I expect I will need to adjust it after I install it in the CDP. Thanks!

Coolio! I sure hope that this brings this old gal up to her prior glory. It's a nice machine!
