These are my "go to" headphones. Never heard anything else sound so crisp and clear. Of course, I am using a headphone amp of my own design (no expense spared components).

I probably need to sell the headphones. $360.00 or so on Amazon. The headphone amp is priceless; OK, maybe $100.

If you still had the SAE 5000 I'd just pitch in for that but that's next month AFAIK.

I had the HD600's for a while myself - very, very nice, almost as good as the Stax I had at the same time. If I were still into headphone listening, I would be sorely tempted to buy the amp.
