It was just him. There was some local warmup band that appeared before him but he showed up solo. Almost forgot about it until someone posted about Mr. Bojangles.

Thats very cool joe! That's deff one for the books there!! I'm to young to have caught all the real cool stuff. Nowadays I get these wanna b's bands!!! We need a thread for all the old concerts ppl went to.

I saw him in 1976 with my Dad when we lived in Mesquite. My Dad was a huge fan of Jerry's and was there when they recorded Viva Terlingua at the dancehall in Luckenbach in 1973
