Did you know that the bands name came from Tommy Johnson's 1928 "Canned Heat Blues", a song about an alcoholic who had desperately turned to drinking Sterno, also called "canned heat". I used Sterno a lot for cooking while backpacking - can't even imagine drinking it. 151 rum and Tang was bad enough.
