Do the wood cases fit the 700 AND the 400 (is it the same for both amps???

I have a nice case that I want to veneer and I was wondering if it will fit either amp. I wonder how it would look on a Pro 700 (HUH?) I'll have to slide the Pro 700 into it and take a pic. I have never had a wooden case for a PL before. I have a set of side panels too but don't know what they fit. One side is a little warped but I was going to cut some fresh Walnut and get out the router and do them up right.

I don't particularly LIKE the wooden cases for lack of cooling but I have several NOS PL Fans so I can install one (after putting in a quieter fan motor with green LED's ..... HUH?)

Yes, the wooden cases came in 2 designs, with and without a "bead line" just behind the front angle. The larger
version of both types will fit a 700/400/5100 Tuner, the 4000 preamps. Here is a picture of a "beaded" case.

And the Series-II 400/700 amps and 4000 pre- use this enclosure, which I believe has a slightly less restrictive cover panel.

I think I have the same side panels
