Phase Linear 700B as a Daily Driver?

Was it the one about a missing token or whatever?

Try again, that was a vB f@rt.

I just don't get any action when I press "upload" after choosing a file. As an attachment, after pressing UPLOAD, the progress icon just spins forever and as a picture, nothing happens :( jpegs BTW.

Mike, go to your user control panel, go to general options and scroll down to "manage attachments and choose enhanced attachments---DISABLE, or OFF...Try that.

OK, we`re getting somewhere now :)
I still cant upload an image, attachments only

Nice! Always like to see more members who fawn over the Phase Linear 700 B. I have Doug's Larrt WOPL 1000 residing on my stereo shelf. Doug has already offered a few more amplifiers for me to try out, upon returning the PL 700 B he loaned me. It has been a delight to be given an opportunity to use the PL 700 B.

Nando.

There are a multitude of things that can be done to it, but it sounds like you do your own work. If so, study some of the 700 rebuild threads, in the DIY section. When it comes time to do some work the whole crew will pitch in and help if needed.

These Phase Linear amps are pretty easy to work on even for an old tubehead like me

Fawn over that amp? He's lucky he has "lusted over one" for all this time? ME? I have a disease. I own three and need to downsize, but instead I keep seeing cherry ones on the auction sites and I want another one? Instead all it gets me is a punch in the arm by my woman, who thinks I am in love with these 700B's more than I am with HER?

They ARE easy to work on. Any of us here who have any tech bench training should have no problem. Unless you are a dumb butt like me and don't tripple check for solder splash. That will (blank) the project up in a heart beat. Luckily, these other guys are smarter than me, and I could rely on their knowledge and superior wisdom to help me in not only fixing my snafu.....but upgrading the whole amp in the process. Like Lee said; see the DIY section for a few threads on this amps beef-ups. Lee even has made some awesome copper heat sinks for this thing! Really, once you have the amp.....upgrade options are close to limitless. :-)
