The face of the second counterpoint amp I got used is going purple like that. Annoying because there is screen printing on the plate so I can’t have it redone.

I think the sun bleaches them out too.

I got the purple one used so it may have been a pool party favorite.

I'm the one who bought the purple Heil Sound 700. Even rarer than Clair Brothers or Audio Analysts which came later.

Holy crap, this was started 11 months ago. Glad someone here bought it. Anodizing problem wasn't purple haze was it?

I was reading yesterday about some pot farming outfit in Colorado I think it was where the skies around town glow purple at night from their lights.

Yahoo...go figure.
