I have this Phase linear 4000 II - Its missing one of the larger knobs. I recently (yesterday, haha) de-oxed all the controls. Works great. My friend Doug (Nick Danger) told me to post it here on Phoenix as you guys are big Phase Linear fans. Anyhoo, anyone interested in it ?

I forgot to put a price, so Im editing this post

$199.00 + shipping costs

Thanks, Dan

Anything been done to it? Recapping? Any hums, crackly pots etc... have you tested the phono stage, does it handle MC carts?

Welcome to Phoenix!

Welcome to Phoenix!

No crackling, I de-oxed ALL the pots. No hums, but I will double check it tonight by hooking something up to each input. I do not think it has a MC/MM switch, I don't know a lot about this preamp... I'm a Marantz guy really (Although my mains set up is a Proton amp/preamp) --- I recently got a McIntosh integrated amp and tuner.... so maybe I'm not a Marantz guy.... haha. Dan

I am interested but cash poor, if your into high quality records, I would love to work a trade. I think many folks on here can vouch for the quality of records I sell/trade

Please work it out with Ron? I'm sending him $75 for that 9 disc jazz LP set but he needs to get firewood from that, and I'm more concerned about getting my cat over her sinus infection again so she can smell food to trust to eat.

At least I saved all the files to get my computer going again,

If you're into vinyl Ron (Northwinds) has an amazing collection. He's straight up and will do you right.
