This is the response I got to my e-mail to the seller.

"idk what you are seeing but price on my end says 250$"

He makes it sound like I have bad eyesight. Then he updates his price to $250.

How many of you saw it at $1,250 before it was changed to $250?

lol. Sure looked like $1250 here ò¿ò. Ok at $250 I can see that. What a difference a 1 makes.
 
I saw $1250.....someone grab that at $250. Haven't seen that price since I bought my 4 finner 4 years ago.

I bought a black faceplate from Bob Speece from AK.
He told me the chrome bezels were a one time deal & no other details.
I've done some chrome powdercoating on car parts that does not look half bad though.
 
Yep, gonna have to do a couple pairs myself, I have gathered up 2 black faceplates for my 2 personal B's, plus some other goodies...may even get them done sometime this year...

Why not sandblast the bezels and have them chrome plated?

Reading this thread has got me thinking about doing that. There's a U-Blast shop not far away.

I have to go on a hundred mile ride to see my dentist or nearest hospital. 200 for nearest dermatologist. Plating shop? Several hundred.

EDIT; We're not all that rural. We DO have a doctor come to town twice a month. And we do belong to AirEvac for emergency's. Heart attack? You dead brother!

Ah, a geographically undesirable suggestion. Gotta say though, if I could live as far away from "urbanity" as you do and subsist, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
