Not mine. But thought some of you all might be interested. You have to be a subscriber on AK to view this ad.

I've copy/pasted the test below:

This Phase Linear 400 is in great cosmetic shape, and powers on, but there's no output.

- Some black paint missing from the meter bezels. Both meter lights and meters are working.
- Faceplate is very good.
- Back covers for outputs are present and in great shape.
- Insides look un-fetttled with.

$120 plus ship.

Being sold by fdejong in the San Francisco area.

I will use the meters and faceplate and dispose or box and forget the rest of it then. The Carver pretty much assured that I will not be able to afford to get this one fixed anytime soon anyway

Being it's a 4 fin like mine, I will probably have a local guy look at it at least to see what it might need. Seller says nothing is burnt in it so maybe it will be a cheap fix

How much a hassle is it to swap the faceplate and meters?

Does it require a soldering iron for the meter wires? I have never looked at the setup closely

Yep, 5 wires, in and out in 10 minutes......it also requires you have at least 2 pieces of silicon to rub together.....

You are on a roll, Lee. Three Crowns and you're down? I doubt it. Thanks for posting those pictures of yourself from your grad book. You were trouble back then and slightly a bit of trouble, now.

Nando.
