I studied electricity for 2 years then avionics and electronics for 2 years. Lot of trouble shooting. No bench work. So a lot of things I do don't make since to you guys. I won't say the power conditioners make any thing sound better. I just like them working at what they are suppose to. Thus lasting longer.

Some things I am pretty anal about. That is just me. Ask Todd about the Belkin though. He freaked when the light bulbs flickered and it tripped.

I bought the Belkin yesterday and was here today. Here are the pics. It is sitting right on 120 volts. I don't do this to brag. I do this because it is a good buy. $500,000.00 insurance on your gear connected to the unit.

I like the simple look of that. Likely Logitech will have codes in the data base, but you'd have to buy their remote of course.

I just ordered two of thes units. I hope they perform as advertised. I will use one for my SS gear and the other for my analog gear. So they clean up the sound in any of your systems, or mainly just give a little insurance against a lightening strike or power surge? I think my entrance powwer usually runs around 121V or something. Does this unit keep the power locked into a steady 120V, or exactly how does it do what it does?

I am an idiot when it comes to some of this stuff..
Thanks,

AC votage regulators have been around forever, just now they have become the "Must Have" for home stuff. Yes Sutton it keeps it steady and will protect against surges.

Can you open the lid and send us a picture of the naked power conditioner. I saw one one in a Best Buy, there was quite a bit of hardware inside.

Started reading some reviews. LOL One guy is running 60 amps on his mono-blocs. LMBO He must have welding cable for his AC cords. I have never in my life seen a 120 v 60 amp circuit. Do these people really believe that? Do they read what they write before they post? If I am wrong someone please correct me.

I dunno that much about it. PS Audio recommends a 20A dedicated line for the 200c. I don't have the ability to do that. However I had trouble with multiple components when I turned it on last lol.

Ive been to a house once that was huge and electrically heated. They had a 240v service I think, obviously had to be set for usabilty. They had an electrical room like a big retail store. Might have been more then 240 coming in come to think about it.

Honestly I don't think ive seen a 60A ever to an amp, but there are amps like those 700lb Krell amps that each make 8000w at 1ohm. I don't know what you'd need for lines but I bet you'd want a separate service for them.

I have a 200 amp service. My box is full. I found 1 open circuit. Ran it to the loader. I am running right now 119 volts. May have to buy another one. I do not trust Monster. I had a Belkin before. If the lights flickered. It shut down. Sold it to Todd. I remember when they started building them. One outlet was over 300.00. I have been running these for awhile.

If I wanted to do a dedicated run. I would have to bump the service up. Would go with a 100 amp. Which would involve a building permit. The electric company would not bump it with out an inspection. I don't like the govt. coming around. LOL

I am not a fan of big brother at all. With our incomes with all the deductions we only get 400.00 back this year. I guess we aren't part of the 48% that doesn't pay taxes. We paid over 4000.00 in income taxes last year. Not a happy camper at the moment. Spent a large sum of money on insulation and windows and doors. No tax credit at all. Can't refi my home to a lower interest rate. Little upset with big brother at the moment.

I'm probably going be one of those guys that builds a compound to keep unwanted people out as I get older. LOL I do not put myself on the radar at all. Just let me live as the founders of this country wanted us to live. That is all I ask of my country. I am glad that the police patrol my neighborhood.
