I have some quality computer parts for trade if anyone is interested.
Now that I've had my new rig up and running for several weeks I've been
able to diagnose my old system and the culprit ended up being a flaky CMOS.
It's kind of a drag because the motherboard is a feature loaded eVGA Classified
high performance son-of-gun.

Items listed are good & solid parts from my old rig
that are up for grabs. I'll barter or whatever else works, at below
whatever is perceived as market value. Audio related trade offers
are certainly welcomed. Fun, no hassles, otherwise
it's not worth it. Shipping States-side is on me.

Here's the list of stuff I have, and if someone ends up picking up multiple
items off my main list, I'll throw in the items listed separately on the bottom, gratis:

eVGA Superclocked GTX560 vid card
eVGA GTX580 vid card with 1.5 GB on on-board memory
Intel Core i7-980X Extreme 3.33 GHz 12 MB cache Socket LGA1366 processor with a corresponding Noctua CPU cooler
, six core beast
NZXT Hale90 850 watt power supply - 80 Plus Gold rated
(2) Western Digital Velociraptor 10,000 RPM hard drives 300 GB, great for raid 0 or 1
OCZ Platinum Series PC3-12800 DDR 3 triple channel RAM (3 x 4 GB - factory matched set),
for a total of 12 GB;
these are super low latency CL 7-7-7-24 1T modules.

Sound Blazer SBX Z Pro sound card
RocketU 1144A 4-port USB 3.0 PCIe port add-in adapter
Logitech Back-lit Illuminated Ultra Thin Keyboard (not wireless)

Broken beyond repair but highly affable

I could really use that lighted keyboard and would buy or trade...Wouldn't think I could afford the PS but you tell me.

PS I had to shut SATA-0 off to post from Mint 13 and FF...you would hope that by 2005 computers wouldn't be bass-ackwards like that still.

Isn't the I7-980 for socket 1366? What are you asking?
That was a late night, 6 beers in the belly typo - thanks for pointing that out. Fixed.

I'll consider any reasonable offer for that one.

Will one of your hard drives be happy with anything I have? I suppose that would merit the PS.

Don't know what you have to be honest.

They are of this vintage:

Best for high performance set-ups with SATA II interfaces - where in raid 0 (striped) they will yield close to the max bus speed, like greater than 250 MB/sec transfers. I don't intend on breaking the set.
If no one here expresses interest in the pair, I have other channels to move them along.

I don't think I have SATA-II, wasn't aware there was one. That link was the one I saw when I searched...it looked pretty funky.

What I have amount to new and clean used tapes, LPs, and after that I wouldn't know...there are no tube amps hiding in a corner. I would really like to get the lighted keyboard at least and that will still take until September. I have two cassette decks, 32 new blanks, several pre-recordeds and a TX-6500 paid for and mostly on the way, after all-Web and wkmc got most of my spare cash this time and I bought all the food and household goods I could this month...wouldn't be any wonder then.
