Damn DUDE, your Mom and mine could have been sisters!!!! Seeing that pic is very, very spooky. Spittin image Bud!!!!!!

Mom's shrine to Torch Lake MI, petosky stones, a shot from the back of the '57 Century and a small pic of Grampa in his '62 20ft Resorter, the fastest boat on the lake till about '65 when the Hemi's invaded Ford country, it wasn't pretty...  A bunch of rich motorheads gone crazy. I heard somelady brought a Freakin' Baby Gar with 3 turbo diesels...BrawHaHaHahahaha :toothy10: :toothy10:

One of Geri's first remarks when seeing the picture of your mom is: " I hope I look that good when I'm her age." My first thought, but I didn't dare say to Geri: I hope so, too, because I would drop you like a hot potato."

Great pictures, stuwee! The 17' Century Resorter has been a dream boat of mine for years. The stuwee family knows how to have fun, regardless of age. I'm surprised the rest of the ogling scallywags didn't comment on your pretty sister. Or in Jim's case, your aunt.

   to all the above!! I'm surprised at the restraint showed by my fellow members as well, 'tis a nice respectful bunch, I was constantly fending off suitors for my sisters back then. I'm about to post pics of me driving the Century doing my 'Risky Business' Tom Cruise impersonation 8-)

Please do, stuwee. Not Tom Cruise, more like Al Pacino for me.

I adored driving this boat, I felt like a million bucks worth of cool 8-) , my Mom and Grandma with Jerry driving. Jerry was just a kid working at the marina when Grandpa bought the boat, he worked on the big 406cid motor keeping it in tip-top shape, and he always said he wanted dibs on it should it be for sale. He'd always yell "Open up the back two barrels"!!! Just like on a car, you had to push the hand throttle a bit harder past the linkage on the big carb to get to the good stuff

Nando, I love that pic of you, nothing like it eh??

While it's not wood, but still a boat, Gramps '67 Caddy, I learned how to drive in her :D . Badass color, she's so big I had to take two pics to get all of her  , Grandma showing Mom how the custom dual-zone climate control worked. Grandpa designed it years before Buick came out with the first production model. He like the car ice cold and she liked it warmer.

We sold her to the town whore, and keep tabs on her, Mom saw her in town last year, just a tiny rust bubble on the fenderskirt (the Caddy, not the whore). I should be nice, she's a great lady who just likes men and nice cars, she takes really good care of the Caddy.
