I've wanted one for nearly 30 years when I first saw the four in the automation queue at a local station...Actually, both of the local broadcasters used them. The four at the station down the street (two remained last time I was there) ran 24/7 for most of 20 years with probably 2 rebuilds/head replacements for them...the two left were in the voice/production rooms and ran like tanks.
You probably know the seller, it's Larry N on TH. He expressed frustration that he wasn't selling much on their classifieds (I buy a lot from him though) and he said I could have it exclusively and the low price is sort of a thank you gift.
He has other Revoxes and he knew I wanted one.
