I,d sell every deck I have at down and dirty deal prices for just one pristine Nak 1000 series 1 or 11

Fast I got a reply on the 1000s. He said they look great; but doesn't know about the mech. I asked about the 700 also and the others. Is anyone else interested in any that are listed?

[/quote:2ajcdh3v]Sorry that don,t fly,,,the company who manages my building lets me keep my car in a private garage for the winter which takes up space,,,if they want the space back they would tell me to move my car not give away parts of it without asking,,of course if they told me they were going to give me Newer and Nicer one that would be fine but somehow I doubt that would happen in that case or this

OK Question Asked,,

I made an Ass-umption. If you'd rather not I will not, it is your deck.
But....I have a 1000 that is supposed to be brought in here next week for consignment, along with a couple of Sony Beta-hifi vcrs. I'll let you know the condition. It works according to the seller. I'm hoping it is a 1000II.

So was there ever an official list of what the decks were and how many and what condition? NOT that a guy ever needs another deck, but ....

Ok here is the last correspondence. The 500.00 he is talking about is a Pioneer RT0909 with new pinch rollers and belt. Here is his last thing to me.

I would like to get $500 but that may be a little much for you? Make an offer or if you know of someone. I also have at least 3 Revox A77's in need of repairs. These could go for maybe $150 for the best and $75 for the worst one. It is too much work to pack them up for less. I have a Nakamichi 700 that looks good but sure it does not work for $175. Many BX series Nak's. Make me an offer on any of these or any other deck you may be interested in---I may have one.

So far Benny has been a straight up guy. So if your interested let me know. I'm just not into 10 inch reels. I am a tight wad. LOL
