I almost forgot, I'd like to say thanks too for the effort put into this.
Got my copy from D2 the other day, (thanx D2), and it's been quite a good listen.

Cheers to all for the work.

And I almost forgot...shame on me...

With the large number of new members we gained outside of the US the logistics were a bit different and more difficult this year.

Fortunately for all of us some of those very members did an OUTSTANDING job helping me when I was in a bind and they copied their packages to send to others.

Most all of them got there in time and I gather we might have to split things into two or three divisions next year and send the job out to a European and Australasian member with funds to distribute the packages (which would also save on mailing costs).

I humbly thank Sep (Vintage Shadow) and derek29994 for the great and timely help you gave me this season!

I will know to get done much earlier at any rate if I do this next year (which I probably will), but we will do it differently.

Ahhhh, so HERE's the proper thread about the Christmas CDs. Very nice and thank you! As i posted somewhere else around here, I enjoyed it through the holidays.

Many thanks for your effort!

Thank you for the wonderful compliments!

Now it's my turn for a present.

I THOUGHT I had one working cassette deck...I was WRONG. The Pioneer CT-3000's concentric input pots are being a pain.

Both my Pioneer and my Realistic 8-track recorders may need work (at least alignment) as well.

I had to send out blank Quantegy 632A reels to let you record them yourselves because my Teac 3300 has a left channel problem and I couldn't get the Akai GX-636 to even start up.

I got a beautiful Pioneer CT-F650 FREE but it needs belts...I have at least six cassette decks in line for repair on that shelving I put up to clear space.

I can't remember too many times when I had no cassette deck to use and I haven't even had much time to sit down and start on things...what's more, I'm STUCK with a receiver I can't finish for ONE screw (it just needed the volume balance control board swapped out and the other D7000 has a frequency display logic problem, burnt out FM button lamp and the two crossover adjustment buttons fell out long ago and then there's a reel to reel that won't finish coming apart to sell the amp for the same reason. I think Lee is working on that situation but unless I can figure out why a certain Sony jams up and stops or clean and belt another Sony from 1976, same for a Pioneer CT-20 or something, I have hundreds of cassettes and barely anything to play them with, forget about recording them.

I've been telling you this for a long time but I can't get to one thing before another goes wonky. Maybe I can fix the way the collar is set on the right channel pot for the '3000 but I've got to work on COMPUTERS as well, especially the OS upgrade I want to give to at least one of them and use at least one of the Dells at the bench with limited or no internet.

Even the chicken I had today did me wrong.

When do I get a present back in the form of some serious help with some tape decks? I don't need any more as much as fixing some I had, akthough that CT-F900 has had me anxiously waiting for some time because it's a damned nice deck!

Rant off/
