I've asked a few of you to provide something related to the Christmas card in this years mailing a couple or three times now...an elfin cajoling to note that I've got two weeks to get done and insure our members outside North America get their goodies on time. I've sent drafts of it to you to show you how far along I am and Lee LIKES IT.

After learning a lot of new tricks last year I've planned ahead. I have label templates for CD and three common tape formats and I've got to get a program I bought 12 years ago to work or ask Jer for something to finish the Christmas album and it's pretty much K.I.S.S. this year, a card and an album so I'm not zonked. I've succeeded at that so far and I guarantee you'll love this year's mailings.

We'll take care of the mailing list, Lee and I, so now I really need the help I asked for.

If you don't I'll assure you get subscriptions to some awful waiting room magazine that always makes you with they had MOTOR TREND. :tongue2:

Your head elf and bottlewasher,

Orange

I've got two of you now and that's 25%...the allowance didn't arrive today (nor did the cassettes I bought from a member) but everything should be the coolest Monday...

THANKS!

I can print in parts and add over it when I get to that but I still need it done next week.

I have the fronts of the CD cards and two tape formats done and the outside of the card as well...20 CD sheets (x2 each) = 40 waiting for their backs and 20 the same way for the cards and that's been going stinking easy except for the last details I need.

I'm going to probably record a high quality cassette and have a friend rip to his Mac for my assembly files...so YES, all of you Jobs jobs can say, "Made On A Mac" :cyclopsani: :laughing9:

Remember that I'm giving FOUR FORMATS a shot this year, even EIGHT-TRACK! YEP, I got those blank and Maxells...all with labels/cards.

I'll be asking for addresses soon from Lee and you can tell me what you wanted: CD, Cassette, 7" reel or Stereo 8.

And I will be sending some of those EIGHTS anyway...some of our friends over there will be getting some too.

(You never know...)

So more on this into the weekend when I've had some time at the cassette deck.

Re: The Phoenix Christmas album...I have the CD master finished and I'm making copies so tapes are not far behind...

I'm being sent some NEATO RED 7" REELS for the reel product, and some of you will get one and a CD too. Others will get a cassette...well you get the picture.

I'll be figuring this out this new week.

AND ANYONE ELSE LEE TELLS ME TO OF COURSE.

Get ahold of me or VICE VERSA and Git 'er done!

If you want a reel and I don't know you have one, I'll do my best to accomodate you based on the quantity of good quality 1200' 7" tape @ 7.5 ips, you will get a backup CD if you get a reel, same for the cassette etc recipients so that you can save them to your computers.

Now, I have a lot of work to do, but at least I have a backup dual cassette deck now and three RTRs. PLEASE give me enough time to know what you need! I don't want a bunch of late overseas mailings so I'm going full tilt. Transylvania must have tunes!

You should have my address already Steven. We have exchanged a few things in the past. Check your mailbox at TH for an addy from Parnelly. Nothing has changed since last year. Please let me know if you've lost it.

Steven,

I didn't presume that I would be on the list...

No idea what to expect but thanks anyway! You now have a PM.

Oh, I regularly save the PMs I send and get from TH and here, have to dig through them but their box is so small I don't fill ours hardly as much as theirs and I probably don't have it, still looking...But like I said I'm doing about five things at once and waiting for a relative to come help me put plastic on the windows and other winter stuff and still pay all my bills tomorrow. All while making the CDs and putting the jam on the toast (I say)!

Go ahead and resend.
