Nikko Beta 20 & Gamma 20

Nothing wrong with that Larrt. We all get by with a little help from our friends!!

Once you think you are tired of people. Someone goes and messes it up. Which is a good thing. Don't want to give up on people. Some you give enough rope. They do it to themselves. If you get my drift. LOL

The alpha 2000 was rated at 330wpc and I have never seen one for sale, but saw one in person.
The alpha 800 were like 250 wpc and rare as hens teeth. The only one i ever saw for sale is one my friend bought
The alpha 600 amp is rated at 180wpc and also very very rare. The only two for sale that I know of is one that I bought and one that my friend bought.
The alpha 400 amp is rated at 120wpc and is somewhat rare, you will see a few for sale on ebay from time to time.

The Alpha 400 that I have I bought as NOS in the early to mid 1990's, I have the original box and owners manual. It is in very very nice condition with very low hours. Me and a friend of mine bought complete 400 sets at the time from a guy that had two pallets of the stuff he bought out when a stereo shop closed it's doors. I think at the time we both bought two 400 sets and I sold one when I bought my alpha 600 set.

Never really thought about selling any of them. I know I won't sell the 600 but maybe the Alpha 400? Let me think on that one.

The pre to me was very transparent. I didn't hear a difference when selecting the different loads on the phono settings. Sounds good with the tubes.

Just in case you didn't notice, the loads are dedicated to one of the two inputs, but not both.

Beta 600

Hi
Do you have the Beta 600 manual/schematics? can you provide me it?

anyone had it?
it's hard to find :/

Yes, I love the sound of my Nikko systems. I have an Alpha 400 amp and Beta 400 pre and they are some of the best sounding pieces of equipment that I own.

I have a Nikko 600 system so the 400 doesn't get much use. The 400 set was a new in the box set that I bought in the mid 1990's.

I only have one Tuner the Gamma 400 and one Tape Deck The D700 though.

Years ago I picked up a Nikko ND 800C cassette deck for 10 bones at a used shop. I purchased it simply because I had no tape deck. While it seems now it could use a bit of a tune up, its still kicking around in the girl's bedroom.
