We had an F4 in Northern AZ last October 2010, it was on the ground for 30 minutes, a record for the state, I'll post a cool NOAA weather radar screen link, very cool of a super rare thing out this way...edit: check it... http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/fgz/News/06Oct2 ... t2010.html

I've seen a couple funnel clouds here in the valley, not like my old days in Texas for sure but still...
