earlier you said "just factory appearance, all White Oaked"
That means no LEDs?
How much is just the all White Oaked part- no LEDS- assuming I already have the carcass?

To Totally Gut It and go back with everything new EXCEPT heatsinks, transformer and meters using the stock chassis and faceplate right around 1200.00
OK, I'm understanding more. 800-1000 if it has good outputs and PS- 1200 if it needs it all.
Anyone near me in Maine/NH/Mass?

Seems smarter to just go with new better quality devices and PS caps though... I think she needs some explaining about the level of WOPL builds to better understand the costs involved, $750-2000 does not tell her much Lee. I was relating the virtues of a full blown FC WOPL to her in conversations about them. I am thinking a 400 would be a better start for her but if she wants a 700B...

Eventually, I want one of each. I have my living room system for entertaining, more civilized listening and then I have my music room where I play my drums for more wild listening. A 400 in the LR and a 700B in the drum/music room! That's what I'm thinking. But I can only do one at a time, whichever donor unit I find first. Not much for sale right now.

I play guitar through my all tube Peavey 6505 2x12 combo, the WOPL500 easily brings my system up to concert level when I play along with cd's at guitar amp levels I would use in a bar (unless the amp is mic'd through a PA of course)

You like it loud? You will fit right in Michele!

Ok help me out. What is this WOPL Auditon List? The threads are hard to read here. Is the last page first? Do you click on the highest number page to get to the beginning of a thread?
Yeah. Try going to the last page which will house the first post in the thread, Michelle.

It depends on how you've set it up. You can set it how you want it "Linear - Oldest First" or "Linear - Newest First".

To resolve the situation, you have to remove all the components on the main PCB that are affected, clean off the glue, replace the component(caps, trasistors, diodes, etc.) Take a peek here.

You can substitute caps, but you will have to modify the amp's chassis or mount caps outside on the outside as jbeckva did with his M80 repair/ mod.
OK, not anything I'd want to do.

I have several systems set up (and lots of equipment not in use) but the reason I ended up here is that I've been looking for something really great and cool to drive my Allison Ones. I'll use a Sony SACD player and a Thorens TT for the sources and I have a Nackamichi 610 pre to use with the WOPL.

Yep, I was thinking a 400 also. The Allison's would not last long with a 700. Even a 400 could kill them quickly if your not careful but they only need 30w to put out 100dB IIRC. What's nice about the Allison's is that they are bi-amp ready so a pair of 400s would be pretty sick to drive them
